Dauntless is Founded

It started with a dream to disrupt the modified Land Rover® Defender® Classic segment by producing something of superior design and quality to the abundance of existing modifiers. We were going to do things differently. With a few new parts, a new colour palette, and some unique wheels, and an aesthetic based on the custom motorcycle scene, we were going to take on the world.

A Change of Direction

Reality struck. Improving on what had already been done was proving to be incredibly difficult, if not impossible, due to the compromised nature of the base vehicle. It dawned on us that we could either then pump money into brand and differentiate that way, or engage in greater product development and separate ourselves from the pack by creating a wholly unique product. We chose the latter.
